About our team
At Freycinet Resort, we employ a small, friendly and committed team who feel more likely family than colleagues. Attitude is as important to us as experience.
Working at Freycinet Resort, you can expect to encounter visitors from all over the world, with many different backgrounds. We love to employ staff who are genuinely enthusiastic about sharing their passion for Tasmania, and want to help our guests have a memorable stay.
Staff satisfaction is a top priority for us. We know that in order for our guests to receive a genuinely warm welcome, our employees must feel happy, settled and valued.
We also strive to offer our employees a good work-life balance. Visitors come to Tasmania because they want to explore our beautiful state – we believe that it’s only right that our employees should have the same opportunity.
Staff Accommodation and Facilities
We provide our staff team with high quality, on-site accommodation, and we are constantly working to renovate existing housing – as well as adding new options for our expanding team.
We know it’s important to provide staff accommodation that is not just a basic place to sleep. Instead, we try to offer a home-away-from-home, where our employees can relax, cook, socialise, and take advantage of the laid-back East Coast lifestyle.
All our staff accommodation options provide a fully equipped kitchen, a separate living area, and access to a shared vegetable garden and greenhouse. Many of them have spectacular ocean or forest views.
